Best Care Home of the Week: Northview Lodge, Sunderland

Sarah Whitebloom

Northview Lodge

It may sound weird for OLM, but credit where it is due: Britain's biggest homes group, HC-One, has turned Northview Lodge in Sunderland from a 'Good' care home to an 'Outstanding' one.

The latest report from the Care Quality Commission this week positively heaps praise on the residential home for adults with brain injury.

Describing the service as 'exceptionally caring and compassionate', the inspectors also had high praise for the home's leadership and responsiveness. Well done Northview Lodge.
